The Ysleta Independent School District received a Top 100 Safe Search Award from netTrekker. The district was recognized for ranking in the top 100 districts for keeping students safe online with outstanding netTrekker usage during the 2008-2009 school year. The district was also awarded for extremely successful districtwide implementation of netTrekker. YISD was ranked sixth in the nation and second in Texas in netTrekker usage.
